nashyar - "Salam kenal." In Indonesia, we say "Salam kenal" when we meet someone for the first time. It is our equivalent for "Nice to meet you." I'm an aspiring social media specialist with a new budding love for traditional art. During my university years I had taken a part-time job as a student consultant for 4 months but stopped to focus on my thesis. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor in Economics from Universitas Pelita Harapan in Karawaci and worked for my parents' company as an International Affairs Officer for 1 year. With formal permission from my parents, I set out to find my own path as a digital marketer. Throughout those years, I am always amazed by the presence and how rooted social media is in our lives. So much that the idea that I would have a chance in researching social media in more detail sold me immediately on making a thesis about social media. I used Twitter and Youtube a lot from since I was in my teenage days but with the new surge of Instagram popularity in recent years had led me in utilizing it as a media to share my love for traditional art.
