Logo & Stationery Design For Pacific Project Logistics

Encompass water & air (for shipping & air cargo), strength and reliability. We want our logo to be easily distinguishable / recognisable and potentially used as a stamp so we can easily have it painted on a ship or shipping container. I would like to explore using our initials "PPL" in the logo and also having the logo followed by our company name "Pacific Project Logistics".

Our company is called Pacific Project Logistics. We specialise in vessel management, vessel agency, shipping of cargo via air and sea, project management, customs clearance. Our Clients include government departments, military departments (Army/Navy), Shipping companies, oil and mining companies.

I envision our logo being a dark / navy blue however I am open to look at multiple or contrasting colours. My example logos that I have attached are just initial thought and I think the anchor does pigeon holes us as a company as we are more than a shipping agent / operator. The top example logo looks like a wave and a bird at the same time however it is a bit to round for my liking. I would prefer something more structured with straighter lines.
